Luisa Stronghold was not a quitter.

Right now, all Luisa wants to do is run away. But how can she? With a sick father and a newborn baby sister, she's stuck. It's the end of the world for a girl who wants nothing but freedom. So she bides her time and hopes things will get better. And it does for a while.

Till her dad dies.

Now, 12-year-old orphan Luisa (with no last name to speak of), has been separated from her sister Holly. She is now nothing more than the poor little orphan girl in a town she wasn't even born in. The only good thing about this is now-

She can finally be free.

So 12-year-old runaway Luisa Freeborn runs away to find adventure in the forest. But when she meets 7-year-old Yolo (with no last name he can remember), things become a little more complicated than she ever thought they would be.

Not that that's gonna stop her.
