"And you're pulling yourself a nightmare by being stuck indecisive." She stops before him, staring eye to eye.
"Decide," is all she had left to say.
When the misanthropic genius begins to receive public support to start his own
company, it was the hardest decision of his life.
Then
a young, beautiful upstart started poking her way around his calloused heart,
and it caused her nothing but trouble.
Meeting him opened her eyes to something about people, and gave her life a goal to change it.

Seth is young man. He has a good paying job and a good life. He's happy, and then he runs into the love of his life while shopping for groceries. Especially how they're about to meet for the second time when Claire gets backed into an alley by a drunken creep.
