Annabeth Chase is a loner now. She has no friends. She's bullied by the most popular girl in the school. Her step mom hates her. Her father is never home. She's depressed, and no one sees it.
But she puts on a happy face.
For her little brothers. For her family. For her boyfriend.
The light in her is dying slowly.
And the few things that make her happy are slowly leaving.
She was okay before, but now her world has been turned upside down.
And she has no idea how to solve it.
