Meghan Adams is humiliated when her fiancé George Ricci stops their wedding to tell her. He's already married to her best friend and maid of honour Emma Turner for a month now.
Eight months passes and Meghan hasn't spoken to either of them. She gets a telephone call telling her to come to the hospital to get her son. Thinking it's a joke she gets angry until a police officer tells her it's not.
When she get to the hospital she sees Emma her former best friend and maid of honour at death's door. Emma dies and Meghan is introduced to hers and her ex fiancés George's biological child.
