Michael is shocked to discover that Holly's HR replacement is none other than the loathsome Toby Flenderson. But he's in for even more of a shock when he realizes why Toby returned to Scranton after supposedly leaving for good.
As unexpected truths are exposed, Michael must deal with new and conflicting emotions. Who can he trust if he can't even trust himself?

The idea for this absolute garbage show came to me half in a dream. You know when Michael says his whole "NOOOO! GOD! No, God, please no! No! No! NOOO!" thing? What if Toby responded: "God has nothing to do with it."
So I decided to embark on a quest to write this horrendous Office fanfiction. I made it as stupidly dramatic and fanfictioney as possible, complete with a weak plot, awkward writing, and unrealistic premise, and over-the-top emotions. It will be a glorious mess and I hope you enjoy reading at least the first chapter. And if you decide to keep reading, well, prepare for a garbage show.

The room was pitch black but I could still see his handsome face. And even if I were put in a crowd and blindfolded, I would still be able to find him. His musky scent wafted across the bed to my nose. My favorite scent in the world. His eyes were on my face and I stared back. It felt like we were communicating with our eyes.
