The Lonely Genius

Brian Pierce is a cynical, stoic cheapskate that lives in total poverty & has no family. He is also a loner to the core that hates everyone in the world and refuses to accept help or pity from anyone at all. He hated every bit of his life. After struggling all alone for half a decade, he receives a letter of invitation to a very prestigious academy, with full scholarship. Brian immediately passes it off in his mind as just your typical scam. However, this changes a bit when the founder of the academy himself comes to meet him in person. How will this fateful encounter affect his life? Will he finally be able to escape the despicable life of his? Or will it all be for naught?
