Despite being a hopeless romantic, 22-year-old Harper Madison has never had the best luck with love. At her wits end and completely sick of blind dates, she confides in her best friend who suggests she join the matchmaking agency: Ace of Hearts. Cupid, the enigmatic matchmaker behind a mask, offers to help Harper find love, but he also offers to shoot an arrow into the one her heart desires- if that is anyone. The catch? If the person shot has a pre-existing affection toward her, the arrow with disappear when struck. All hell just may break loose when the arrow sinks into the chest of the first man to ever break Harper's heart- or even worse, when she discovers Cupid's hidden agenda...

Taking a deep, steadying breath, they pulled the bowstring taut and prepared to let the arrow fly. But then their target turned and looked directly at them, finding them in the eaves as if they'd known they were there all along. The target winked.
