Charlotte was happy. Key term: was. She used to have everything. She wanted for nothing. Her parents were rich lawyers, she was smart and talented. Of course, nothing good lasts forever. Now, she does want something: to go back in time and stop her parents from meeting. Then she wouldn't have to put up with this bull crap. Damn it all to hell.

After an old friend waltzes into her life, Char learns about her parents, the source of her wealth, and the nature of their jobs. Now, suddenly, the war aspect of the title starts to make much more sense.
