Marlee has been the wife of Alex 'Tig' Trager for 4 years, Before she and Tig got together, Marlee had an ex (Jesse) who was a serious alcoholic and abuser. He had been put in prison after he hurt Marlee badly, she ended up in a coma in the hospital. He was in prison for 5 years. The first thing Jesse did when he got out of prison 5 years later was find a close friend of Marlee's and got the info of where she was staying. Jesse was not happy with what he was told. Rage building, he went to find her.
