Those of us whose lives were marred by extreme misfortune are given temporary refuge from death and rebirth to heal the wounds they suffered. Above Asphodel was one of these people. And, seven years after Above's suicide, the detective known as L met an untimely death as well, at the hands of Kira. His too was a life cut short; a story incomplete. Hight 6'2. Tanned and toned body. Death's best friend in the hell hole they're in, he's as cold as she is. But shows a bit of sympathy. Well... More than her at least. He's been there for her, ever since she entered this place of crap. They're the two most feared. As some people say, they're a perfect couple. Killing. Fighting. Cold hearted creatures. Also known as D and S. Why? That's what your going to find out, joining this adventure with D and S.

This is an AU in which L has DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) otherwise known as Multiple Personality Disorder. This stared as a three part oneshot series in my other book, but people loved the idea so much they kept requesting more. So I've moved all the oneshots into their own book as they follow the same story line and ended up long enough to be a short story. DID is a very real and very hard to live with trauma disorder and I am in to way trying to glorify it. I just thought the idea of each alias being a different person very interesting. This disorder has a negative stigma behind it and that negative stigma needs to be destroyed. I've done as much research as I can to make this accurate.
