Skyephine is an unordinary girl in her freshmen year who holds a horrible curse from deep within a golden pendant passed down her family generations which she now beholds. This necklace is what keeps her horrible family's bad luck at bay but she slowly realizes the pendant is now slowly cracking about to unleash it's inner darkness and slowly strengthening in power. Skye has to do something about it yet doesn't what it exactly is.
In the meanwhile, it's the first day of high school for her with a ton of social drama and studies to deal with and maybe even a crush?...

I yell at him as the tears stream down my face, "Why does it matter to you so much!?", I curl my hands into fists at my side.
Then suddenly, he grabs the sides of my arms and pulls me in close, the tears start to crawl down his face as he carefully lifts my face up to look into his loving sky blue eyes.
"It matters so much because I care about you, don't you understand now, don't you see it? I love you!", he holds me close, loosening his grip as he continues. "I love you, I need you in my life, without you I wouldn't know what I am anymore, I wouldn't find any meaning in life if it weren't with you..."
My face flushes at those words that when he bends his face down towards my lips, I don't stop him...

If only if those words were true...
