Jude never thought she'd be able to pull this off, she's successfully tricked Cardan into taking his place on the throne, until Oak comes of age. She is amazed with her own planning! But what happens when Cardan becomes not all so keen on being pushed around and manipulated. What will happen when the year and a day is up? What is to come of Jude Duarte then? While her twin, Taryn, is married to Loke, Jude's ex-boyfriend, causing the highest of tensions between the two, and the eldest sister, Vivi, just trying to settle and reset the peaceful sister trio. Oak, Vivi and Heather are all living in the mortal world, while Madoc an Oriana are trying to find Oak, as Madoc wants to use him to get to the throne, no matter how long that will have to wait.
