Jevonte is a dark 20 year old college student who came a long way from his rough past. He's living his life striving to take care of his younger sister, make it through college, and to become a successful business man. He is book smart but he's very known in the dangerous drug dealing streets of Brooklyn. His sister Alana, and his bestfriend Ant are the only two people he really has left, being that his parents abandoned him and his sister. He doesn't really date because he feels like love is a distraction to his goal but what happens when he meets Gamilla.
Will she be the light to his darkness? Will she change his view on love?
Gamilla Is also a 20 year old college Student who has come to New York to finish her bachelors degree. She's a straight A student with strict parents. Her Father can be very controlling making her ready to move to New York so she can finish school with out being scolded. But is that really the best decision when she meets Jevonte?
