They live in a world long after us with strange creatures, but that doesn't come close to being the most obscure detail. Everyone is part human part animal! In human form, they take the appearance of humans but their tails and ears give away their breed. In animal form they morph into full beasts.
The Darkshadows are a clan of five people who cannot return home. They have their differences, but they come together to form the first multi-species clan. They are soon thrown into the task of figuring out what happened to their people and who is responsible.
The story is based off of a game me and my neighbors used to play when we were little titled "Half Human, Half Animal". Each of the five members of the Darkshadows is based off of me and my four friends I played with when we were younger.

Once upon a time there was a girl name Evangeline King, Eve for short. She lives in a world full of shifters and non-shifters. Her parents were the King and Queen of people that hated shifters. Eve never believed them, because her best-friend was a shifter. His name is Daniel Grey, he could shift into a tiger. He would hide his secret from the others. But one day, Daniel vanished and Eve never saw him again. Over time her parents died, and her name and kingdom were forgotten. Eve became poor and went to live with her friend Amber. Who worked at the bakery, in a small village called Shimmer. Eve lived there for years, working at the local tavern to earn money to help Amber. To this very day, Eve still wonders what happened to her golden tiger.Complete
Titans
Here are a few things you should know before you get started reading there are six titans with contracts and one without a contract and four children and one teenager and one of them of the seven (counting the teenager) is the "key" and there is one titan that is wanting the "key" if he gets his hands on him the world is doomed. Miclor is one of the titans that was supposed to watch over the children until the other six make their contract with them but he accidentally makes a contract with Alex one of the seven. Moniky, Miclor's older brother made a forced contract with Terra (the teenager). After Alex's mother died he went on a search to find the killer along with Miclor and the other titans. Miclor and the other titans are animals (can change into animals too, but you have to figure it out yourself and they do have clothes). Miclor was watching seven other children before them but they were killed but two a boy and a girl but he gave his sister the boy because he thought she could help him and kept the girl with him so he could watch over her and as she grew up and had Alex along with Terra (not blood-related). Terra disappeared and was forced to have a contract with Moniky. Now you have to start reading but the first part might be confusing when I put it on here and if it is tell me. 'Book 1 in the Shifter series' My name is Celina Birch and until yesterday me, and my siblings; Sydney and Alexander but Alex for short, thought we were human. Turns out we our from a family of shifters but, we would not know thy due to our parents dying when we were young and being adopted. The animal you shift into does not run in blood like people think. Yes, some family's lean more towards one animal but there are occasions where a member will shift into a different animal. It all depends on your personality. There are 22 types of animals you can shift into. Some are common and some are rare. Now we have the birds: the Ravens, the Eagles, the Vultures, and the Falcons. Then we have the felines: the Panthers, the Tigers, the Cougars, the Snow Leopards, the Cheetahs, and the Lions. Then we have our canines: the wolves, the foxes, the coyotes, and the hyena's. Are common because there are the mythical ones too. The flying creatures: the Hippogriffs, the Dragons, the Pegasus's, the Phoenixes, the Thunderbirds. The water creatures: the Sirens, the Mermaids, the Kelpies. The shapeshifting academy is kind of like Hogwarts with the letters and using owls for sending mail. Yes, there is a castle for the academy and no, there isn't any witch or wizards those are supposedly extinct. Now I have to go were going to find out what animal we shift into at the ceremony soon.
