au where soulmates can see eachother, but in a ghost like form and only when one is across the world, otherwise the connection breaks because they're too close.

But its only a legend, Taehyung doesn't know about it anyways, so he tells people he has an imaginary friend named Jeongguk & he tries to convince people he's real. Until one day Taehyung stops seeing him & cries over losing a friend. Upset that if he was actually imaginary why couldn't he just poof him into to existence?

So what happens when he sees Jeongguk again a week later but sitting with strangers at a diner?
