Steve is a skinny kid living in the bad part of Brooklyn. Not the regular, frequent muggings and/or shootings Brooklyn, no, HYDRA Brooklyn...
The only reason he isn't in immediately in danger is because his best, closest and only friend, Bucky Barnes, is a high-ranking officer in HYDRA, the neighborhood un-friendly Mafia Group.
One day while shopping he leaves his debit card on the counter, and a... "nice" man delivers it back to him.

Tony Stark is depressed. His one and only love, Pepper, died horribly.
And it's his fault.
If he had listened to her and left SHEILD. If he had just started over... then she would still be alive.
He knows he'll never love again. But what happens when he meets a young man, a struggling artist living in the worst, and cheapest, part of Brooklyn. A man whose eyes have the same innocents and passion as his late Peppers.
And broke. The young man is broke. So broke in fact that Tony just HAD to give him back his Debit Card.
Tony catches himself thinking about the young man-Steve, almost daily. He's worried about the little guy. It's only coincidence that he just so happens to see Steve a lot, he swears!

Will I run away with Peter and will everything go to plan? Or will the truth come out, leading to a relationship I'd never expected to happen? *The story has been edited and revised* Bucky Barnes had finally ran away from HYDRA, but he was in hiding. He was too worried, and a bit scared, to go to his childhood friend, Steve Rogers, so he tried to hide from the blonde as well. Bucky had jumped from place to place for a while, running into HYDRA agents every few months. He was tired of running, and he hoped soon he'd be able to find a place to stay; a place to have somewhat of a home and to finally start remembering who he was and what happened in his life. After a year of being on the run, Bucky decided to hideout in a small town in Ireland. The town had a semi-small population, and the people seemed to mind their own business. He found himself a cheap apartment, number 101, and he was easily able to hide from the world while in the small living area. *************** In apartment 102, lived a woman by the name of Harlow Simpson. Harlow was a sweet girl who moved to Ireland years ago with her brother Wade. Wade had run away from home because he had accidentally had a daughter, Jodie, a few years back. Harlow had decided to move with her brother and his new born daughter, so she could help him take care of her. When Jodie was two, Wade decided to join an underground fight club, but only a year later, he was killed in a scuffle with a man twice his size over a bet. Harlow was given full custody of Jodie, and she and the small child moved to the apartment to get away from all of the sad memories of Wade. Three years later, Harlow and Jodie were surprised to see a man moving into the small apartment next to theirs. The apartment was very small, and from what Harlow seen, the man really didn't have much to move in. Each day, Harlow and Jodie would watch the man leave, only for him to come back with a small bag of fruit.
