Everyone was evacuated from the home planet over 150 years ago. Our planet was dying, it was only a matter of time before our race was wiped out. We now live on a synthetic planet designed and built by our ancestors who came together from all parts of the globe to devise a plan to save us. We have lived peacefully for over a century.. Until now. Our lives were threatened when a mysterious and deadly virus broke out, killing entire communities at a time. The council says that they have a plan; they said that in order to prevent the death of more innocent people they will test every man, woman, and child for signs of the virus. Any person found to have been infected will be quarantined, the ones who die will be given a proper burial while the ones who survive are deemed carriers and are to be sent to the home planet to prevent further outbreak. I was prepared for the people I know and some I love being taken away for the greater good, but I never would have expected that among the list of people being taken from my community, that I would be one of them.. I survived the quarantine. Now for the survival of my planet I, and the other Carriers must be sent to the home planet. I'm going back to Earth. Emmi is not and cannot be vaccinated against the disease, so the only way to protect her and give her some kind of life is to reunite her with her estranged mother in a quarantine zone on the other side of the country. Charlotte wants nothing to do with Nate or the girl who looks like her dead sister. She does not want to go through the grief of losing people again if something bad was to happen. And something bad does happen when Emmi is kidnapped, and it is no one's fault but Charlotte's. Through this obligation alone, Charlotte feels like it is her responsibility to get Emmi back, to right her wrong. In helping Nate pursue his kidnapped daughter, Charlotte inadvertently allows herself to feel again, to care for those other than herself. The Infection that helped bring the world to its knees also changed humans in ways to help them keep living in this now broken world ready to be rebuilt. This story isn't about how a hero will rise and bring the world back to what it was Pre-Fall. This story is about me, an ordinary Remanat living life through the world day to day as a mercenary. A beginner mercenary as everyone likes to remind me. The others in my group have been calling me 'Rookie' since I joined them three months ago. I'm beginning to wonder if they actually know my name. We have been hired to help the New Reach Caravan travel across the wastelands to Philly Del Phia, and this is the perfect opportunity to show them that I'm not just a dumb Rookie. I'm actually quite good at my job. I just happen to get distracted by one certain Eight-Ball, but it's not my fault he's good-looking, and charming, and funny... It's 2500 and the world is still suffering from the disastrous effects of World War 3. Plague, the result of the recent biochemical war, sweeps across Eurasia, leaving millions dead in its wake. Even the best scientists in Europe are powerless against it. The main reason for the general misery is this. Europe is now under the tyrannical rule of the Democratic Republic of America, and this has wreaked havoc upon the streets of Europe. Poverty, starvation and disease now fill even the greatest of Europe's cities. They hold a cautious peace treaty with the Oceanic Union, but of course, this doesn't come without a price. However, for Europe at least, there is a glimmer of hope. For the growing resistance has finally managed to recruit the greatest criminals of the 26th century to spark the beginning of the greatest rebellion in human history. Unfortunately for them, the 'greatest criminals of the 26th century' are teenagers. And even in this day and age, teenagers still bring their insecurities and petty rivalries with them, wherever they go. So, this is the question: can this team of misfit criminals bring a golden age of peace? Or will they set the world on fire for the fourth time?Complete

After the Disease that killed off the Majority of the world finally deceased it left the world a Hostile and Dangerous place. With approximately 2,500 people left in America and 15,000 left in the world, it isn't often you come across someone just passing by, there are three main groups that stick together The Beati, who are the apocalyptic version of a hippy, The Operarios Group (just normal people trying to survive), and then of course The Reluquos the power hungry killers who execute anyone who try's to get in their way or disagrees with them. Oh and then there are just the Loners like me hoping to find somewhere they can fit in and belong. I don't know what made me go this route but for some reason I did and now I'm standing face to face with a Reluquos Army Leader. His strong arm grips onto my Shoulder stopping me from moving, He regards me coolly studying my face for signs of fear, which I'm trying my damned hardest to suppress. Finally he talks....Complete

100 years ago, amidst WW3's nuclear bombing, a deadly virus was released in the atmosphere and nearly wiping out the humanity. It lives inside the human brain thriving on the empathy receptors, leading to irrational behaviour and ultimately brain death. To slow the damage, scientists created L.O.V.E, short for Living Off Vital Emotions, a nanovaccine that numbs the virus and switches off all strong emotions. As a last resort and with a dying planet, the Supreme Government created the City, a place to contain the infected survivors suitable for the experiment. Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. To minimize the threats, the Colonies have sent their best soldiers to oversee the trial and protect its key subjects. If only things were going according to plan, or better...stay hidden.
