Ever since scientists mixed people's DNA with the beasts of the world, the earth hasn't been the same. A few decades have passed and the public has a new common species among humans: the hybrids. They have faced a lot of persecution and hate from humans and have even had some of their rights taken away. The year is 2080 and the struggle for hybrid rights is still going on. The harassment and detest has become more brutal over the years and many hybrids have lost their lives because of it. There are stories going around of another civil war happening in the US, between the humans and the hybrids. Will Sapphire and her friends ever be able to lead regular lives like other people? Or will the rumored war eliminate their chances completely?
