Have you ever needed forgiveness? Or needed to forgive someone? What is the worst act you can imagine being able to forgive someone for? What if someone lied to you... cheated on you... stole from you... or tried to murder you? Could you forgive that person in order to move forward with your life? And not just forgive them, but could you also desire to fellowship with them... even love them? In The Heart of Dixie, Dixie Bryan knows that the answer Christ gave was yes, but can she? Is it possible that she can find something redeemable in a man that caused such a horrific tragedy in her life? Knowing that it is expected of her as a child of God doesn't mean it comes easy. All she knows is that she has to try and trust the details to the One who makes the impossible, possible.
