The New York Syndicate

Ivy McCade is a librarian for the wealthy of New York City. She spends her days zigzagging around the city to the houses of the super-rich to organize their offices and books. A man in complete black keeps appearing around the city everywhere she turns, it leads to a cataclysmic unraveling of her life. When she stumbles into an event that she shouldn't have, she is thrown into the unforgiving underbelly of New York City and forced to rely on a stranger who has a tendency to shoot first and question second.
