My Writing Shorts

This book can simply be compared to an artists' sketchbook; it will function as place to experiment with my writing style and expressionism.
I might interpret some things that I want to analyse and think about closer, or just write a few lines that can be fun to read and are open for interpretation. Another option is, to only make some lines of words that sound nice together in a textual context.
Anyways, my ending goal is to achieve improvements in my writing style and get to know the amazing language English better.
This is not my first language, and writing some lines is part of the learning process for me.
If you ever get down to reading some of my shorts, feedback would be very much appreciated.

Stories, Poems, and Dreams
Welcome to this little book! This is gonna be some of my better small works - poetry and short stories, for the most part, with the occasional dream that I actually end up remembering mixed in. So, sit back, relax, and prepare for a bit of angst! MINI-SERIES Some of these are differentiated by a marker in their title or, in a very particular case, through a certain sign-off. I wanted to take a sec to explain the idea behind them, and let you guys know that I'll (eventually) be publishing them as actual, proper books! Asylum: Whenever I'm in the hospital or a mental facility, I get bored and write! I thought it would be fascinating to see all the work I make in a "damaged" state collected together. Unsent Letters: If I have something to say to someone but I can't for whatever reason, I'll write a letter to the person. Maybe it's angry, or sad, or an update, or just a much-needed, long-awaited hello. And the hope is that I'll publish it and maybe, someday, someone will pick my book up off a shelf and find that letter I write to them. Would sending them a letter be more effective? Yes. Just ideas I think of occasionally; this is gonna be filled with random ideas... If you like a story, please comment, and I might create a new book to carry it on with. To Warm Frozen Fingers // A Short Story Collection
I like to write. As you may be able to tell. I haven't been very good at writing lately. As you may also have been able to tell. That's why I've decided to write a short story collection. The stories won't interlink, some may vary wildly and you might even wonder if they were written by the same person (the answer is yes). Overall, I'm aiming to write 23 stories, which was one per day for 23 days but I failed at that (*seethes* college work...) so now I'm just aiming to finish it before winter is over! The stories won't be very long - I'm only allowed to write for 10 minutes per story, just to get me going again (and literally warm my fingers, I get really really cold fingers for some reason) and the most I've ever written in that time is around 500 words.
