An inhumanly strange lady appears from Kiara’s closet, stating she is Kiara’s trainer. Trainer for what, you may ask? The Gladiator Games. Games held every that are played for the whole city of Olympus, including the Gods and Goddesses. Every year, they select twelve boys and girls with Godly strength, intelligence and skills to compete and fight to the death for the title of Gladiator for the Gods.
Winning means Godly fame, status and riches. Losing means death.

Kiara was really depressed before she met Cassandra. She had been bullied and picked on since as long as she can remember. There wasn't even a reason for it and that makes it much worse. After a few years of good friendship, Kiara realized her love for Cassandra took a different turn, she started to have feelings and soon after, she and Cassandra got into a relationship. Life was good. Too good. After graduation, something really really terrible happened. Cassandra got into a car accident. It was really bad. She got into a really bad coma. Now it's three years later and she's still fast asleep. Kiara's life has been on pause ever since. Until- Kiara also got into an accident. Not that kind of accident though.. Kiara accidentally saw things she wasn't supposed to see. Heard things she wasn't supposed to know. The only possible option was to take Kiara with them. And that's when Kiara's life get's off pause.
