Skyrim is a dangerous province. A war is looming over the citizens head's along with the return of the dragons. But in the midst of it all, a spellsword is for hire.
Nord Evangeline Tallowbane, or Eva, has travelled across Skyrim for years to run from her former life of nobility in Solitude. She settled in the hold of Whiterun and became a favored spellsword for hire. Eva is shaken by the news of the dragon crisis, but the rise of a new dragonborn intrigues her. Rolmir Blackthorn is the hotheaded Nordic warrior who was suddenly given the title of "dragonborn." When Eva and Rolmir meet, it sparks an adventure of no other.
This is a work in progress, art and new chapters may come later as I figure the story out.

The Song of Deirdre Part I
Deirdre Morningsong returns to Skyrim seeking vengeance on the Nords who murdered her parents, only to be captured by Imperial soldiers who mistake her for a Stormcloak rebel. After escaping both the Imperial dungeons and the destructive return of the dragon Alduin, she resolves to discover what strange power is within her, and what the dragons have to do with it. Follows the main quest lines of the game, weaving them into a story of adventure and romance, with numerous twists on the canon. I'm hoping it's equally enjoyable for those who've played the game and those who haven't. Trigger warnings: rape is mentioned, one is attempted and prevented, but none are completed. Some other sexual assault. The first chapters are PG-13, but later ones become R-rated. (Feedback on appropriate ratings appreciated.) Skyrim is part of the Elder Scrolls series of games, copyright by Bethesda Softworks. The image for the book cover is from the game. I've only posted Part I here, but will soon post the rest (four parts total, 62 chapters). I've worked in nonfiction up to now because it's easier for me to describe places and events I can experience first-hand. An's Diary (Skyrim Fanfic)
Marcurio, a mercenary magician, is hired by the mysterious Dovahkiin for the second time. But this time, he's been recruited to accompany her in her attempt to uncover her past and find out why her first memory is of her waking up outside Skyrim's borders in the middle of a Stormcloak/Imperial skirmish. This is a story injected into my personal Skyrim character and experience. It's a creative spin on the existing characters and situations, giving it more life and reality than the mindless video game characters in the game.
