Adya Jones, is a girl that is different from the rest of the kids and is in a journey to find a safe place where all the kids with powers and her can be safe and free...but that isn't easy when PSF agents are trying to take you back to those cruel concentration camps, bounty hunters trying to catch and sell you so that they can get a reward, and trying to protect the only family you have...but that won't stop Adya from reaching her goal...and so the journey begins...
WARNING- This is my first book/fanfic so is going to be really cringy sorry...YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Also i don't own any of Alexandra Bracken's characters or plot. But i own my characters which are added to the story and the plot of this story. I'm just writing this book because im a fan. Also i will be using the book and movie as reference.

Some of the book characters would show up mostly in later parts of the story (except for one, who showed up as soon as the first chapter), and the story itself is tightly knitted to the events in The Darkest Minds book series, so one do need to read them in order to enjoy this. Also, even though I tried my best to not contradict the canon, there are still some fundamental elements in this story that has to go against the grain. (i.e. Cole's death) You might notice that the chapter titles are all Beatles songs, but I actually didn't put them there as a playlist; in other words, you don't have to listen to the title song while reading the chapter.
