Jace was only eighteen when he was in the crash. As his family was driving down to Georgia for vacation they got into a horrible accident killing all but him, leaving Jace with no other family members that he could turn to. While in the intensive care unit at the hospital Jace realizes that something isn't right within him. The changes increase until he needs to stop the change before it's too late.
