The year is 2013 and Girls Aloud are finally simmering down into the band's retirement, still making sure to keep their close bond as friends.
Deep down, however, Cheryl knows she loves Kimberley more than a friend should. And when she reads a fantastical story online written by one of their fans, she is forced to ponder the phenomenon that is Chim, realizing there is something much deeper that exists between her and Kimberley.
Now, without the pressures and restrictions of being in a band together, their relationship has room to blossom.
