Jacqueline "Jack" Evanscombe grew up with Tony Stark. They were inseparable, best friends 'till the end.
"The end" seemed to be the day Howard and Maria Stark died in a car accident. Almost a year later, Jack's parents were shot on their front steps.
Now, Jack has discovered something from the released SHIELD files: An assassin called the Winter Soldier had killed her parents. Seeking emotional support, she finds Tony and asks to live at the Tower. He agrees immediately.
Little does she know, she's seemed to have caught the eye of a certain metal-armed man.

For Bucky, Jack is a dream come true. She doesn't know who he is, his past, the things he's done. But then he begins to remember, because he remembers all of them. Finding her parents, stalking them, learning about them. Killing them.
He knows Jack deserves the truth. But is he willing to give her up for such a justice?
