Shanty

It's a work in progress... All I've got is an idea and an excerpt, but this is what I've got so far:
September Greyhaven has a picture perfect life. Everything she could ever want is at her very disposal; fame, fortune, royalty. The thing about pictures, though, is that they're just that: a photograph. A moment in time, captured, silenced, and frozen. Photographs are nothing but liars, and good ones at that; beautiful on the surface, warm, inviting. They give you the better half of the story and expect you to be happy with it. And most people are. Although it seems that September has everything, she doesn't. She'd trade all her riches, all her fame for the one thing she's been deprived of her entire life: love.
