This is epilogue lore to one of my friends and I's roleplays. It's set in 2034 (all the game dates have been adjusted so that the mercs are the right age.) Not strictly following cannon. Beautiful at first glance, the forest proves to hold 18 very deadly predators. and although 9 of them are fighting the other 9, a accident makes them see the mercenaries as a threat. Can Engineer figure out how to fix the teleporter and get them home before they are all burned to a crisp? Well... you'll have to read to find out.
