Vampires don't leave their victims alive after they drink from them, and Aphmau wants to know why she is. But, the further she delves, the more she finds out and she slowly starts to realise that some questions are better left unsolved. Especially the ones she's asking. Because nightwalkers and daywalkers are separate for many reasons...and her vampire broke the rules.
