Humanity is as good as gone. Only a few survivors are left and hiding.
Melody lives alone, trying to blend in with with body snatchers. She and her companion, her brother Matthew, are trying everything to survive all the while living in constant danger.
However, after a horrible incident Melody meets the O'Shea brothers. Even though, both parties distrust each other they continue their journey together in hopes of finding a stable place.
Meanwhile everyone in the group has to fight their own demons and get past their differences to ensure survival.
I want to dedicate this story to very special person I had to lose recently. He never got to read this but he always supported me and my writing.

I dedicate this story as a gift to her and all her readers!* Aspen wasn't the only one to be kidnapped and turned into a dragonet, but she WAS the only one who had a something to hide, outside of their human intelligence. Armed with nothing but the wings on her back and the claws on her feet, Aspen did her best just to survive her new environment.
