Humanity is as good as gone. Only a few survivors are left and hiding.
Melody lives alone, trying to blend in with with body snatchers. She and her companion, her brother Matthew, are trying everything to survive all the while living in constant danger.
However, after a horrible incident Melody meets the O'Shea brothers. Even though, both parties distrust each other they continue their journey together in hopes of finding a stable place.
Meanwhile everyone in the group has to fight their own demons and get past their differences to ensure survival.
I want to dedicate this story to very special person I had to lose recently. He never got to read this but he always supported me and my writing.

Caleb and Andrew are the kind of people that like to play things safe and have a plan before charging into dangerous situations whereas Daniel's motto is "Shoot first. Ask questions later." Daniel loves the rush that he gets when he puts himself in dangerous situations, but he soon realizes that he needs to start thinking about the consequences that will come from the decisions he makes.
