Copper lives with his mother, Mara, in a small den under the Old Twoleg Windcatcher. But tragedy strikes when a patrol of strange cats drives Copper away and changes his world completely. He stumbles upon the cats of MapleClan, and he stays with nowhere left to turn. Clan life is a new adventure all on its own, but closure is the one thing Copper lusts for; between the burning desire for revenge, anguish, and the wonders of Clan life, Copper has to decide what battle he truly needs to fight.
