"Carter," he whispered softly into my ear as felt his fingertips treaded gently over my forearm leaving a tingling feeling. "Who did that?"
I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion. "Did what?"
I glanced behind me over my shoulder to see him looking intently into my eyes.
"Who hurt you so fucking bad that you can't love me back?"

Carter Rowan was a mess. She was everywhere. She was crazy, she was bold and never held back. She spent to much time at the bar and not enough time sleeping. She barely even slept. It was as if she was a beast.
