"I'd like you to meet 6 year old Cassie. If you're looking to adopt an older child, Cassie is as sweet as they come. I'm sure with patience and therapy, she would open up. You would all make a family and that's just what she needs." This was the same old speech that a social worker, Naomi would make. Boy did she know it well. Almost every 3 months it would be given again. This family was a married couple they didn't have any other kids. They already had a therapist ready to see Cassie. Maybe... this will be the one?
