So I guess you need some figuring out to do." ********* Daimen and River were both seniors at the same high school, they took some of the same classes, walked the same halls, live in fair distance from each other, but they couldn't have been more different. When high school was over River and Daimen became ghosts to each other but then years later fate decides to bring them back together. River Sparrow hates confrontation. She's jumpy, but tries to see the bright side of situations. She's quiet, soft spoken, the "teacher's pet," and keeps to herself a lot. She's a volunteer at the local animal shelter and loves one dog in particular the most. Daimen Princeston would fight in a heartbeat. He's strong, intimidating, and pretty much has people running for the hills at the very aspect of him getting angry. His devil-may-care attitude swirls around him and no one wants to get on his bad side. Of course River is afraid of him, and she has a good right to be. But when River starts to learn more of the young man everyone fears she starts to see him in a new way. After some time feelings grow stronger and she hopes she's not fallen for a murderer. Erkenci Kuş: Broken Promises
Snippets of alternate outcomes in the lives and enduring love story of Can Divit and Sanem Aydin. When I started out with this story, I only intended to loosely base the 'short piece' on the events in Bolum (Episodes) 17 & 18 however, I got such positive feedback, I decided to stretch it out a bit. I'm still unsure how far I will stretch it but so far, I'm enjoying writing it and will keep going till I run out of steam. I can't think of any show/movie that I've watched in recent times to which I have reacted as I did when I watched Erkenci Kuş. The characters hooked their claws into me and wouldn't let go. I rooted for Sanem and Can; cried and laughed with them; railed at and cursed their detractors and finally rejoiced over their reunion. However, the ending was so rushed. After all the angst we were put through with their relationship, I felt robbed of an extended happily-ever-after. What we were given was too short. I hope to right that wrong, amongst others, with this story. Though I only watched the show in Jan/Feb 2023, I have since rewatched it countless times. There were certain parts of the plot which wound me up so much so this is me writing what I wished had happened. Enjoy!Terminé

Her own sons, Can and Emre, were already teenagers; Can was a sweet sixteener and Emre...a grouchy fourteener, so a little girl to take care of was just what she needed. From the moment Can met this...tiny but so beautiful little girl with her big, dark deer eyes, he felt a very special bond between them. Mirhiban felt it too and happily noticed that Sanem trusted her eldest son ever since. Can spent all the time he could with 'his little babygirl' and helped her get through the loss of her own family. But both of them would grow up into adults, and...what about that 'special bond' between the sweet sixteener and that so tiny and beautiful little girl when that happens..? NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH ERKENCI KUS
This is a different type of Erkenci Kus story. The characters are familiar, but their interaction has changed from the series, and quirky funny things happen. I have read one story where Sanem had special powers and she will have different ones in this version. There is a difference from the other version. I hope this will be a fun filled story. I apologize if any details are similar to any other story. I try hard to write from my imagination only, except of course ideas from the series. I have no affiliation to Erkenci Kus, the cast, or anyone else involved with the series. I am just a fan, only. Please overlook, any mistakes, long drawn out sentences, or misspellings.
