When I was a child I dream to have my own happy ending just like what I've watched in Disney movies. I had been reading lots of romance books, and I even listen to my relatives how they find their own the 'one'. I imagined how their life is written in paper with black and white suddenly get splashed on by the beauty of colors just because they found the right person that will bring their reality to vibrancy. The moment I saw his face, and the moment our eyes had met - I knew that moment he is the one for me. That I was done searching for my own knight - the knight, I was waiting for didn't come galloping with his white horse but instead, he came into my life right after he knocked me down using the soccer ball. Erkenci Kuş: Broken Promises
Snippets of alternate outcomes in the lives and enduring love story of Can Divit and Sanem Aydin. When I started out with this story, I only intended to loosely base the 'short piece' on the events in Bolum (Episodes) 17 & 18 however, I got such positive feedback, I decided to stretch it out a bit. I'm still unsure how far I will stretch it but so far, I'm enjoying writing it and will keep going till I run out of steam. I can't think of any show/movie that I've watched in recent times to which I have reacted as I did when I watched Erkenci Kuş. The characters hooked their claws into me and wouldn't let go. I rooted for Sanem and Can; cried and laughed with them; railed at and cursed their detractors and finally rejoiced over their reunion. However, the ending was so rushed. After all the angst we were put through with their relationship, I felt robbed of an extended happily-ever-after. What we were given was too short. I hope to right that wrong, amongst others, with this story. Though I only watched the show in Jan/Feb 2023, I have since rewatched it countless times. There were certain parts of the plot which wound me up so much so this is me writing what I wished had happened. Enjoy!Complete

NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH ERKENCI KUS
This is a different type of Erkenci Kus story. The characters are familiar, but their interaction has changed from the series, and quirky funny things happen. I have read one story where Sanem had special powers and she will have different ones in this version. There is a difference from the other version. I hope this will be a fun filled story. I apologize if any details are similar to any other story. I try hard to write from my imagination only, except of course ideas from the series. I have no affiliation to Erkenci Kus, the cast, or anyone else involved with the series. I am just a fan, only. Please overlook, any mistakes, long drawn out sentences, or misspellings. Yearning Hearts - a saga of destiny
"Hi Riya how are you feeling?" Kanvika asked a small 9-year-old patient who was lying on the bed suffering from emphysema (a chronic disorder related to the lungs) I'm fine Dr didi and meet my big brother, she said pointing her hand towards the other side of the bed. Without looking first, she continued to say, "Hi this is kanvi..." her voice fading away as soon as she saw the person standing in the opposite direction. The other person, now taking the lead continued, "Hello this is Abhimanyu Agnihotri", forwarded his hand, and he was shocked to see her wearing a nuptial chain ( related to the wedding ). "Hi this is kanvika Baner.." she stopped again and proceeded to say, "Sorry I'm Kanvika Agnihotri " forwarded her hand too, shaking his hand. He was more shocked to hear her saying his surname instead of her name. He didn't even see her face on the day of their wedding. The very next day of their marriage, he had to travel to london for his company emergency meeting and issues. So he never got a chance to see his own wife's face. After 3 months he came back to India as his Grandmother was budging him to take care of his wife and take up his responsibilities. He did not know that he got married to his LOVE and even she didn't know that the person she was searching for is none other than her own husband. People might think this is a mistake forgetting the fact that this is just a Chance given by the destiny. When destiny decides to bring them together, it will. Destiny never break it's own promise. It will bring them back together even without their own acknowledgment Now, how will he convince her? For not being and not caring for past 3 months. Will he ask for forgiveness? Will She forgive him? . . . . . . . She used to live in his memories, He used to live in her words. Neither her heart forgot him nor he left her back. Marriage first, then love
He did not love her. It was a loveless marriage to him. In his eyes, she is just a burden who cooks food for him. And in return, he will earn money and place it in her bank account. Will she have to continue to wonder whether it will always be a loveless marriage or a new journey where they fall in love with each other together instead of one-sided love. Sanem lost her parents and older sister in a car accident when she was only eight. Mirhiban, the wife of Aziz Divit, the owner of the hotel where Sanem's father had been the manager until the moment he passed away, was a very loving and endearing woman; her heart almost broke when she found out about the little girl left behind and quickly organized for her to stay with her and her family. Her own sons, Can and Emre, were already teenagers; Can was a sweet sixteener and Emre...a grouchy fourteener, so a little girl to take care of was just what she needed. From the moment Can met this...tiny but so beautiful little girl with her big, dark deer eyes, he felt a very special bond between them. Mirhiban felt it too and happily noticed that Sanem trusted her eldest son ever since. Can spent all the time he could with 'his little babygirl' and helped her get through the loss of her own family. But both of them would grow up into adults, and...what about that 'special bond' between the sweet sixteener and that so tiny and beautiful little girl when that happens..?
