Jesse heard her BFF's gasp and shriek, but no one else seemed to hear them. When poor little Jesse looked back at her friends what she saw made her shriek, her hands, which she had been leaning on for support slipped back. Her head and back slapped against the floor. Head throbbing back aching and blackness threatening to consume her vision, Jesse had only 3 thoughts in her head.

Her first thought was of the strange creature she had just seen. It was like an extremely small, brown skinned, navy-blue haired girl with long, blue wings protruding from its back. Her second thought was of her friends and if they were ok or not. Her third and last thought before she blacked out was that she had been sitting on a field of soft grass with wind blowing through her hair, not on a cold, hard floor that felt like cement.

Still eyes closed she looked for a pillow but instead her hand touched something very hard, it was like a human arm, the manly odor was surrounding, first she thought she was dreaming, She hold him softly and hugged him. He was snoring faintly. She opened her eyes instantly, it was some unknown man on her bed and he was sleeping peacefully beside her, she narrowed her eyes to confirm it was indeed what she was seeing, she got up a bit while putting pressure over her arm. His light brown hair were fallen over his forehead, His broad chest was moving up and down as he breaths, when she realized that it was not dream, she got up and screamed. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh". An ordinary love story? Think again.

The beast continued with a smirk as he comes closer bit by bit. The moment Kelvin tried to run again it stretched his hand and grabbed his shoulder pinching him with the sharp nails... This story, these characters, have brought me comfort more times than I could count, they have saved me in every way possible. When it felt like I had no one, I always had them. When I felt sad or lonely, this world was a place I could hide. This world felt like my only home. I've been writing this story since I was 17, and it's hard to believe that I'm finally releasing it a couple months before I turn 21. But certain parts and characters were in my head from as young as 5. It's time to not gate keep this story anymore, and let it out into the world for people to hopefully enjoy. I hope these characters feel like your best friends, just like they did to me.
