Jesse heard her BFF's gasp and shriek, but no one else seemed to hear them. When poor little Jesse looked back at her friends what she saw made her shriek, her hands, which she had been leaning on for support slipped back. Her head and back slapped against the floor. Head throbbing back aching and blackness threatening to consume her vision, Jesse had only 3 thoughts in her head.
Her first thought was of the strange creature she had just seen. It was like an extremely small, brown skinned, navy-blue haired girl with long, blue wings protruding from its back. Her second thought was of her friends and if they were ok or not. Her third and last thought before she blacked out was that she had been sitting on a field of soft grass with wind blowing through her hair, not on a cold, hard floor that felt like cement.
When 3 friends end up in another world, they fiend new friends, as well as new enemies suprises around every turn. What will happen? Read to find out!

Not As It Seems
This is a trilogy. Orphans accidentally stumble upon a magical world with blue grass & green sky. Everything seems wonderful at first, but it's all not as it seems... This story, these characters, have brought me comfort more times than I could count, they have saved me in every way possible. When it felt like I had no one, I always had them. When I felt sad or lonely, this world was a place I could hide. This world felt like my only home. I've been writing this story since I was 17, and it's hard to believe that I'm finally releasing it a couple months before I turn 21. But certain parts and characters were in my head from as young as 5. It's time to not gate keep this story anymore, and let it out into the world for people to hopefully enjoy. I hope these characters feel like your best friends, just like they did to me. I saw Jorge beside me drinking the blood from the other side of the neck. I lifted up his head and smiled to me and I saw his- Vampire fangs. I lifted me head up and smiled at him and he dropped the body onto the floor. Completely drained of blood. He walked over to me and wiped the blood off of my lips. Then in his eyes I saw my reflection. And in that reflection I saw something. I saw my vampire fangs slowly turing back into my regular teeth. Then Jorge and I used our witch and wizard powers to make to body disappear.Complete
