When a Mother leaves her five and six year old children in the car to go into the shop, the siblings, Sophie and James, realise that the window which was covered in frost had been written on, "I'm watching them, don't worry." Panic rises in the children and Sophie starts to cry. It's dark outside, no one is around yet a couple of seconds later they hear nails clawing at what sounded like the back window.

Lily Colwells has had anything but a nice and normal childhood. She's been beaten by her own parents since she was 7 and now at the age of 18 she can't take it anymore. His eyes were fixed on the dark road ahead of us, the road I surely didn't want to die on. Before I could even finish forming a coherent thought, the car swerved hard to the side of the road and comes to a sudden stop, sending me flying into the dash. My forehead collides with the smooth leather of the dashboard. I hear him rustling around, but can't see much due to the black spots in my vision. You know, from literally eating the dash. I hear the sound of something popping open and then liquid being poured. "Tell me kitten," I hear him say slyly. "Does this smell like chloroform?" He chuckles as he reaches across the console to press a rag to my face. Emily Watts, twenty years old and living alone in LA, due to her parents being drunken assholes. I went to reach for my phone out of my purse but James snatched it of me, "you won't be needing that," he told me before throwing it out of his window. I gasped, "what do you want with me?" I asked him whilst trying to ignore the tears that were threatening to run down my cheeks. He laughed, "a bit clichè, don't you think?" I tried to open the car door but it was locked, he must have known I would try that. I started to cry, "please let me go!" I shouted. He shrugged, "why would I do that? It's not like anyone will miss you," he said and he laughed again. I put my head in my hands and started sobbing uncontrollably. I felt James' hand patting my thigh and I swatted him away. He sighed, "you're so stubborn, Lily," he said. There was no way I was going to be able to escape from this. I just sat in the car and sobbed.Complete
