These are short stories I've written of certain Can and Sanem scenes that I wished had gone differently (from episode 43 and onward). They are written from my point of view, and my ideas of what should have been said between our two lovers when they were in that moment. All situations are entirely fictional and created exclusively from my vivid imagination.

Mostly is about to try to understand how deep their feelings got for each other in a very short time, how bad jealousy can be, how it can hurt and how it can make a person act. I am quite romantic, so a happy ending is a must! And some sex as well, (as sex was not needed in EK but would have been appreciated, for sure) at least I will give it a try. =) My story is definitely not so conservative as EK, characters are not being so traditional, it's about a more modern lifestyle. My first fanfiction, so please, have that in mind! I am not english, but will do my best to use a correct english. *SERIES COMPLETE* This series of one-shots/short stories/scene extensions/episode specs will be the telling of Sanem and Can's story as inspired by Prince's music. I love Prince. I love Can and Sanem. I couldn't help but relate Prince's lyrics to CanEm's love story as I listened. This is an experiment...The idea is interesting to me--we shall see how interesting it is to others. :) Some parts will be rated G, and some will be R. Erkenci Kuş: Broken Promises by TheWordsmythe

Snippets of alternate outcomes in the lives and enduring love story of Can Divit and Sanem Aydin. When I started out with this story, I only intended to loosely base the 'short piece' on the events in Bolum (Episodes) 17 & 18 however, I got such positive feedback, I decided to stretch it out a bit. I'm still unsure how far I will stretch it but so far, I'm enjoying writing it and will keep going till I run out of steam. I can't think of any show/movie that I've watched in recent times to which I have reacted as I did when I watched Erkenci Kuş. The characters hooked their claws into me and wouldn't let go. I rooted for Sanem and Can; cried and laughed with them; railed at and cursed their detractors and finally rejoiced over their reunion. However, the ending was so rushed. After all the angst we were put through with their relationship, I felt robbed of an extended happily-ever-after. What we were given was too short. I hope to right that wrong, amongst others, with this story. Though I only watched the show in Jan/Feb 2023, I have since rewatched it countless times. There were certain parts of the plot which wound me up so much so this is me writing what I wished had happened. Enjoy!

I really loved EK up to episode 19, after that, they made Sanem act too childish, awkward and unworthy of being a strong and intelligent woman. From then on, and especially the scene at the hut where Can lost it, I almost felt insulted that a young woman could be portrayed in such a weak and stupid way; and that she would blame herself after a man would treat her with so much violence and disrespect. I am slowly learning to like the character of Can again but mostly felt the need to write my ''dream'' version of EK after Sanem tells Can ''you have decided to leave, good bye''. I like happy ending don't worry, but Can won't have it easy!!! I own no rights over characters, and I am not a frequent writer apart from uni and work assignments/reports😊 oh and I am not a native English speaker. Yigit is not Polen's brother in this story, because it was utterly RIDICULOUS!!!! Lol

Regret - Part II by TitliGanguli

This is a continuation of story Regret Part I. Sanem meets with an accident while escaping a painful situation at a party. The accident results in many ups and downs in the life of Sanem and Can. Does Sanem come back unscathed? Does she reconcile with Can? Does Can learn to trust Sanem whole heartedly?

NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH ERKENCI KUS by SAllen68

This is a different type of Erkenci Kus story. The characters are familiar, but their interaction has changed from the series, and quirky funny things happen. I have read one story where Sanem had special powers and she will have different ones in this version. There is a difference from the other version. I hope this will be a fun filled story. I apologize if any details are similar to any other story. I try hard to write from my imagination only, except of course ideas from the series. I have no affiliation to Erkenci Kus, the cast, or anyone else involved with the series. I am just a fan, only. Please overlook, any mistakes, long drawn out sentences, or misspellings.
