"They were gone, why were they so upset?
    
    My left hand suddenly felt heavy. I looked down, and my eyes widened. No. No. No. I throw the bow away from me as if that would save me.

    Kailina Smith's life seems to be getting better with each passing day. With her sister's new marriage and a possible  lover, things were actually good. Of course, something had to mess it up. 
    
    After a disastrous afternoon tea with her family, Kailina finds herself next in line for the execution block.  Running for her life, she seek refuge in an abandoned castle.
