Maggie Elensworth was born on a farm and was expected to work on a farm.  She was expected to work and work until she could no longer get out of bed, but she much preferred to hide away in her room wasting the day away with a good book to read. Maggie one day decides to leave the house in order to find a good spot to read outdoors that wasn't too far from home. When she finds the perfect spot she doesn't expect an Indian man to be in her new found spot, especially so close to her father's large property.
HawkFeather was recently announced to be chief of his tribe after his father passes on to the spiritual world. He felt proud and honored to be given the new name of Chief HawkFeather. HawkFeather wanders down to his secret grove to breath in all of its spiritual essence and to receive guidance. He didn't expect to find anyone in his secret grove, especially a beautiful white woman.
