Her breath was caught in her throat and found it hard to swallow, she grasped her stomach in agony. Crouching down to her knees so she won't make a sound. She cradled her knees that were soaked in someone else's blood. Her soft movements could've easily been drowned out by the heavy rain that pouring down.

She tried to stop breathing hard so that she could hear if their footsteps were approaching. But all she could hear was the sound of her heart pounding against her ribcage.

Knowing that these were most likely going to be the last seconds of her life, she only had one more thing to do. She whipped out her iPhone from her yellow coat pocket and began to text the person.

Her heart breaks because for Tiffany, she uselessly insulted and pushed away her true love. Can she still turn back to Quincey or is the bridge that once connected the imperfectly perfect couple destroyed forever? _________ BLURB: Lying on the grass, one leg straight, the other folded. Quincey was covering his eyes with his arm. I came closer to him, not as scared as I thought I was going to be because he looked calm, approachable. I crouched next to him and watched as he breathed peacefully. At first I wanted to just leave his phone next to him and go, but it could get stolen if he didn't notice it was there. The best thing to do was to simply give it to him. After boosting myself for a little while, I poked him lightly with my index finger. "Hmm," he growled without moving an inch. "Do I look like someone who wants to be disturbed?" His voice was harsh, almost mean. My heart pounded as I felt my throat squeeze. "Oh...," I whimpered sounding like a crying seal. He removed his arm from his eyes, and looked at me like I was some kind of specter, the last person he expected to see. "Shannon?" Quincey furrowed his brows in disbelief. He sat up so quickly I flinched. I immediately stood up, my legs itching to escape, forgetting why I came to begin with. "Wait," I felt his palm graze my fingers failing to grab me before I ran off. The girl from New York

49 parts Complete

Completed✔️ Disclaimer: I wrote this when I was 15 so it is a bit cliché, and many mistakes in the story:) All Brooklyn's life, she's been more of a boy than a girl. She's only ever lived with her single dad and her three older brothers, which means she was bound to grow up more like them. So, when she moved all the way from New York to Tennessee, it wasn't much of a surprise until she met Alex, the one of many popular boys at the high school. Until she realized that Alex decided to make her life a living hell. Well, that's what Brooklyn thought, at least... ___ "He leaned in and put a hand behind my head to kiss me, leaving me frozen and speechless. Almost instinctively, after a moment of processing, I stood on my tippy toes and replaced my fingers in his hair, my other hand on his neck. Butterflies exploded in my stomach, replacing my hunger for food, as he pressed me against a vacant wall. Without a word, he lifted me up while my legs wrapped around his waist, leaning in closer to him, even after there was no more space to fill."
