Maddy Hamilton is a sweet, sarcastic girl who spends the majority of her time studying so she can get out of her dead beat town. There are very few things she hates. Scary movies, bananas, makeup, and most importantly, Sam Campbell, the hot bad boy who uses girls for sex and then dumps them on the side of the road like trash. Even bananas aren't worse than those kinds of guys, and that's saying a lot for Maddy.

Sam sees girls as nothing more than a challenge. A level to pass. Once he sleeps with a girl, he dumps her the next day and moves on to the next one. There is nothing different about Maddy. Except that she is the only girl able to resist his good looks and charm. But then again, he always did love a good challenge.

Even through flirting and fights, crazy ex-girlfriends and old friends, there was something constantly pulling the two of them back to one another. Something almost magnetic.
