Alexandra Fior, lives on a farm with her sister. Both parents are dead and they have to look after each other. Alexandra loves to hunt, she also puzzles with the stories of dragons roaming the earth. She believes that they aren't telling the entire truth.

Finding a stone in the river that turns out to be the egg of a dragon, makes all her dreams come true. Sending her on an adventure, which she doesn't seem to enjoy at first, will change everything she's ever known.
