The Blackwater Massacre - Red Dead Redemption
•This is a more serious and realistic short story addition in Arthur's point of view to the game Red Dead Redemption 2 leading up to the Blackwater Incident• •Will be Thirteen chapters, some longer than others. This story takes place a little over year before the Van Der Linde Gang ended in a standoff, and one year before the Blackwater Massacre. It introduces Lenny Summers, Charles Smith, Jenny Kirk, and Micah Bell to the gang, the last four to join before the Blackwater Ferry Heist. For a while in '98, Dutch's gang lived in peace waiting for an opportunity to buy land for their 'family'. After meeting Lenny, Charles, and Jenny, the gang was hopeful. About five months prior to the Blackwater Incident, Dutch met Micah Bell. After Micah saved Dutch's life, he was initiated into the gang, where they began to fall back to crime.

Seven Ages of Something
For camp NaNoWriMo in April I decided to write seven short stories each one set later in history and with an older main character than the one before. Some of these stories have worked very well I think and others less well but I'm offering then all here with only basic editing. 1. The horse conjurer - A little girl in the stone age sees art in a new way 2. Hair the colour of the dawn - A story of Viking America based on an Icelandic saga seen from both a European and a native American point of view. 3. Undiscovered talents - In Victorian England a young woman finds that she can challenge men in a way that surprises them. 4. Love letters - Set in the present day a man makes a discovery in the aftermath of his father's funeral. 5. Neighbours - Millions of people live in one huge building but hardly ever see their neighbours. A chance meeting can change someone's life. 6. Running to stand still - On semi - terraformed Callisto you have to keep moving to stay under the Sun or the freezing night will catch you. 7. Rock of Ages - Billions of years from now the expanding Sun has nearly engulfed the Earth. Explorers look for a treasure left behind after the Exodus.

As internal conflict starts to brew, Arthur Morgan and his childhood friend, (Y/N) (L/N) are forced to choose between their ideals and their loyalty to the gang. ... After her mother's death, Charlotte finds herself an 11 year old orphan in the quiet town of Strawberry. She is drawn to the dangerous life of stealing to earn enough money to keep herself alive. One day, a tall stranger shows up at her door, introducing himself as Dutch Van der Linde... Her long lost father. She is raised side by side with Arthur Morgan though the two never consider each other siblings but rather enemies, divided by Dutch's favoritism for his un-biological son. As they grow older, Hosea advises Charlotte that it's time to put the rivalry to bed and asks her to look at Arthur from a new angle. She begins having strange dreams about him, spurred by a traumatic event in her life. When she gets stuck with him after fleeing Valentine, they get into a heated fight that twists into something neither of them thought would ever happen... #1 in Dutch Van Der Linde #6 in Wild West #1 in Western Warning: contains heavy depictions of violence, alcohol and drug use, smut and foul language Listen while you read! But will she help steer the gang and its two key gunslingers - Arthur Morgan and John Marston - right? Or will she be responsible for its downfall? * Well, here I go again, folks! Tine Nilsen was an OC cooked up for an otherworldly short story in my RDR2 collection, BELLICOSE (that story is called "Left Behind"). I liked her and her dynamic with Arthur and John so much, I thought I'd give this a spin! It will follow events of the game for the most part, but with the omission of a certain character, expect things to change, some. This story was completed on February 23, 2023. Hopefully you'll like it! This is a mature story written for mature, 18+ audiences: violence, swears, smut will all be within, reader beware. RDR2 and related characters/settings belong to Rockstar Games.

Throughout your years in the gang you gained notability and were able to gain the top spot right next to Colm. You had a say in all of the plans and scores done by the gang. People looked up to you. You had it all and weren't looking for anything else, until someone new came into your life. The Van Der Linde gang was your top rival. Colm always took the gang to attack them, and they always fought back. Even with all the fighting, you never met anyone in the gang. Colm made sure you were always away from danger incase something happened to him. But one day that all changes. What happens when you meet Arthur Morgan, the Van Der Linde gangs right hand man?
