I ain't a good man.❞ ❝You're good to me, and that's enough.❞ ➵ Arthur Morgan had heard many tales about grand treasures hidden all over the Heartlands, yet he wasn't one to believe in mere rumors as such, most claimed by drunken lowlifes spending their miserable lives in rundown saloons. Until the day the Van der Linde gang saves a farm girl from Colm O'Driscoll's boys, and something more; with a legitimate treasure map in the girl's possession, the chance to earn a great amount of gold arises, and is far too tempting for Dutch van der Linde to turn down. For camp NaNoWriMo in April I decided to write seven short stories each one set later in history and with an older main character than the one before. Some of these stories have worked very well I think and others less well but I'm offering then all here with only basic editing. 1. The horse conjurer - A little girl in the stone age sees art in a new way 2. Hair the colour of the dawn - A story of Viking America based on an Icelandic saga seen from both a European and a native American point of view. 3. Undiscovered talents - In Victorian England a young woman finds that she can challenge men in a way that surprises them. 4. Love letters - Set in the present day a man makes a discovery in the aftermath of his father's funeral. 5. Neighbours - Millions of people live in one huge building but hardly ever see their neighbours. A chance meeting can change someone's life. 6. Running to stand still - On semi - terraformed Callisto you have to keep moving to stay under the Sun or the freezing night will catch you. 7. Rock of Ages - Billions of years from now the expanding Sun has nearly engulfed the Earth. Explorers look for a treasure left behind after the Exodus.

Nora has spent most of her life in solitude, travelling only with her business partner JB Cripps. Always on the move, never allowing herself the time to face the past that threatens to consume her. That is until she meets a particularly irritating outlaw at a bounty board and her life suddenly bursts into tremendous colour. But when the pendulum swings one way, eventually it'll swing the other. COMPLETE This is a work of fanfiction, with characters from Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Redemption 2 Online. I do not own this world, nor any character beyond the main OC. Neither do I own any of the literature and titles taken from the works of Robert Frost. (While this story follows along with the timeline and the main plot of the game, there will be divergences in the canon. Mainly that Arthur will not contract TB. As for who else lives and dies, I'm afraid you'll have to find out.)

It introduces Lenny Summers, Charles Smith, Jenny Kirk, and Micah Bell to the gang, the last four to join before the Blackwater Ferry Heist. For a while in '98, Dutch's gang lived in peace waiting for an opportunity to buy land for their 'family'. After meeting Lenny, Charles, and Jenny, the gang was hopeful. About five months prior to the Blackwater Incident, Dutch met Micah Bell. After Micah saved Dutch's life, he was initiated into the gang, where they began to fall back to crime.

January 20th Update: New stories and art created, links added to chapter 2 I've decided to try and spread my 3 star ideas to a wider audience in the hopes that they can inspire people. The people that I've sent these to have said that they are "good". I would like to make full fledged stories out of these ideas, but I can't because I am not a writer. But who knows? Maybe I can try and inspire some people to make something beautiful out of this stuff! I want to see more 3 star wholesomeness!
