**The whole idea of not being able to see colours until your soul mate touches you is nOT my original idea, i saw it on some post on Pinterest. Just wanted to point that out :)**

Kristen has always been.. different. Unlike everyone else, she see's the world in grey.. literally. She was never always like that though.. She used to see things like everyone else did. Colours everywhere she looked. That is, until she got into a car accident whilst her drunk father was driving when she was 9. He drove into a tree at full speed, and the impact caused Kristen to fall into a month long coma. After she woke up, she could only see things in shades of grey. However, everything else miraculously seemed to be fine. She never said anything about her weird problem though, as she new her mother, or anyone she told wouldn't believe her. Now, every day, she wakes up wondering if she will ever see colour again. However, something very peculiar happens the day she meets Mia. 
After moving a long way's from Colorado to Washington state, she meets this girl with a very sweet and gentle personality. A single touch from the stranger's hand lights up everything around Kristen with colour. Blue's, green's, red's, the list goes on.. could Mia be the answer to her seemingly permanent problem? Or will Kristen remain un-ordinary?
