Mara Dunn has always been sure of two things: her father is the King of Hell and she's a danger to everyone around her.

Being Satan's daughter is no walk in the park.

Every moment of her life, Mara struggles to subdue the unnatural powers that beg to wreak havoc on anything in her path. She learns that the best way to protect everyone is to deprive herself of human connections.

After Mara's mother dies, she is dragged from her safe, comfortable life and forced to fend for herself.

Mara eventually gets accustomed to her new living situation. Then, she meets Steele Vitalis, the cute new kid at school, and everything Mara thought she knew about the world irrevocably shatters.

As her world expands, Mara tackles her inner demons, love, friendship, supernatural beings, and a blood-thirsty killer named The Red Crow.

Let's just say, any hope Mara ever had to living a quiet life will ultimately be crushed.
