Kokoro Hotaru hated not having a quirk. She would do anything to gain one. Even though people at school supported and comforted her about it, there were still those who teased her.
One school day at recess outside, two cars violently crashed into each other, infecting Hotaru's eye. She had to go to the hospital to get it removed from her socket. A beautiful orange stone was put in place of it. . Ever since then, she gained a quirk that changed her life forever. She didn't know much about it, or even how to use it properly, so she decided to move to Japan with her grandparents to go to U.A. High School.
