They never expected that, after an incident where lives are put into jeopardy, especially Sadie's, she'd come to rely on him in a way she never had anyone else. Jungkook liked that she seemed to depend on him. Liked having a piece of her that nobody else did. He didn't expect true feelings to develop from their close friendship, or that he'd come to need her in his life.
