After two years, Ariana finally broke away from her nickname "the new girl". Makeup is her passion, thanks to her uncle. He's a stylist in New York, and every summer she goes to spend it with him working on her hair and makeup skills on famous runways models. But a new year is starting and Ariana has only two goals this year; make more friends, and fall in love. See, what no one knows about her, not even her uncle, is that all she ever dreams about (other than becoming a stylist of course) is falling in love. She would spend hours reading romance novels and movies (no porn obviously). Jake is the new kid in town. All Jake wants to do is fit it, and try to get use to the American lifestyle, and the Arizona heat being from England. He joins the soccer team in hopes of making new friends, not knowing the fact that the soccer team is one of the worst in the league, which only makes his fame grow stronger at the school. (Who wouldn't like a H.O.T., British athlete?) He had no intention of ever falling in love, because of the fact that he may have to move back. When Jake meets Ariana, it's love at first sight. During the course of the year, they both fall harder and harder, but will Jake be able to stay with his girl? Or will they be split apart?

Leo recently got into the idea of romance, which used to be at the very bottom of her interest list next to working out, on the summer before her 3rd year in college. Ever since she was hooked, she'd read over 25 books that summer and even wrote essays and critiques on each tropes. Her friends were amused and couldn't wait for the school year to start. They even all agreed on the consensus that 3rd year would be the year Eleonore Sanchez gets laid-falls in love. But before they could drag her to blind dates, clubs, and get togethers, Leo falls for the most cliche and beginner trope everyone on the planet knows, love at first sight. And it gets even better. It just had to be her university's golden boy Harry, who also happens to be the guy she shares afew classes with. Now, everyone likes Harry. At some point, everyone falls in love with him, some even gets to date him but it all ends the same way... people get over him. Leo's friends won't let her settle for the golden boy and get her fantasies crushed, not when it's her first time actually considering love. Now let's see as Leo navigate through awkward blind dates, not so cute meet cutes, messy tropes, heart-fluttering coincidences, and bonding with a half- consumed tissue roll at 3am.
