Peter - With the attention span of a hungry bird- lived a hyperactive life with medication always being a must so he could be just like all the other sixteen year olds at school. Except that to him- medication was just something that got in the way of him being himself. Amanda - or "Mandy" as she preferred- is a cynic who gets bothered way too easily. She refuses to label herself with OCD even though it's something she's been dealing with since she was twelve, and has a bad habit of making her annoyance obvious when things don't go the way she wants them. In all their years of going to the same school, not once have either of them exchanged words to each other. But now it's sophomore year at Lakeview High for Peter and Mandy, and they don't know what they've gotten themselves into when they're both paired up as partners for their "Baby Project" assignment in their Family Studies class. They're forced to cope with each other's differences as the new "caregivers" of their now plastic baby... But can Mandy really get passed her cynical mindset and give Peter a chance? Or will Peter be too distracted to make an effort...?
